What after a traffic accident?
If the vehicle is damaged by your fault, the damage is covered by CDW. This insurance does not cover the full extent of damage, only to the fransize amount (CDW), which can be upgraded to full damage cover at additional cost (SCDW). SCDW has some exceptions, which are not covered by comprehensive insurance, such as: tires, chassis and glass (WUG). If at the time of the accident the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we will charge you for the full amount of the damage caused by negligente behaviour.
What type of insurance is included in the total renting price?
A booked vehicle in Greenway rent a car office, includes: TI (basic insurance against liability for damage caused to third parties), TP (insurance covering loss or damage caused to the vehicle due to theft), CDW (Collision Damage Waiver with involvement in the damage ) and PAI (personal insurance for the passengers).
The price does not include: SCDW (insurance that reduces your share of responsibility for the damage to the vehicle) and WUG (optional insurance for tires, underside and glass).
Why do I need a valid credit card at collection?
The credit card is pre-authorized for the ammount of the deposit (franchise) in case of damages. In order of pre-authorisation, the credit card will be valid if covered with minimum ammount 350 € -700 €, depending on the car category and length of rent.
What are the conditions and methods of payment?
Payments can be made in cash or by valid credit card. Greenway rent a car receives all types of credit cards (American Express, Diners, MasterCard, Visa)
Is it possible to modify or cancel my reservation?
Booking is possible to change at no additional cost at least 7 days before the car collection. If cancelled within the 7 days before arrival, we keep the right to retain the deposit.
What is the minimum booking period?
Each reservation must be confirmed by our reservation center at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
How to book a car?
Before booking your vehicle, mandatory is to send an inquiry to our reservation center. As soon as possible we will send you informations about the availability of vehicles for the required period and the total price. We require a 20% of the total price of rent as deposit (by credit card or bank account). Once you make this payment, you will get a confirmation voucher which must be submitted upon collection.
Can I extend the contract?
Extending the contract is possible when returning the vehicle or during the rent in consultation with our staff.
Can I return the vehicle outside working hours?
Yes, but you need to check this possibility with our employees.
What in case of mechanical breakdown or traffic accident?
Grennway rent a car provides support any time. In case of breakdown or accident during the rental, call our agency and the police immediately. The telephone numbers are listed on the contact page and on rental contract. In case of any damages on the vehicle, we require a police report and the filled application form that you will receive with your contract.
What are the speed limits on Croatian roads?
The following limits are as valid: city-50km/h , open road-80 km/h and highway-130 km/h
Can I drive abroad?
It is allowed to cross the Croatian borders.
Can the vehicle be taken at one location and return at another?
Of course, with prior agreement.
Where can I take a car?
Greenway rent a car offers a variety of pick up\drop off locations such as airports, hotel reception, private accommodation and all other places by prior agreement.
Which documents are required for car rental?
Identity card or passport, driver’s licence and valid credit card (we accept all credit card). An international driving permit is not required.
What is the minimum age to rent a car?
Minimum drivers age must be 23 with a valid driving licence at least 3 years. Vehicles of higher category have upgraded restrictions.
TRANSFERS
Do I need to tip the driver?
This is completely your decision, It is customary to give a tip if you feel the service has warranted this, all our drivers are professionals, there to please you well in any case.
What if my transfer start´s from a terminal outside Croatia?
There is no limitations at that point, you can book a transfer wich starting or ending point is outside Croatia. If your terminal is not listed on our price list, contact us and you’ll get it as soon as we can.
Can I arange a return transfer directly with the driver?
Yes, you can always make any transfer booking directly with our drivers.
Are there any additional fees or hidden costs?
No, there are no booking fees or hidden costs, all our prices are all-inclusive (incl. VAT).
Is Your Company licensed and insured?
Yes, Greenway is a licensed rent a car / transfers company, and all our vehicles including passengers are fully insured.
Will I be dropped off at my adress/ accomodation?
Yes, all our services are door-to-door. The driver will take you directly to the address you gave us during the booking.
Will anyone else be travelling in the vehicle I book?
Of course no, Greenway offers private transfer services, the price you pay reserves the vehicle exclusively for you.
What if my flight is delayed?
All flights are monitored for delays to ensure your driver will be waiting for you when you arrive. There are no extra charges if your flight is delayed.
Where will I meet the driver when I arrive at the airport?
All Greenway transfer services include Meet & Greet service. Therefore the driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals of the airport with a sign showing your name. In case you experience difficulties in locating the driver you can always call Greenway customer support, which will arrange the meeting immediately.
Can I make transfer booking anytime of a day or night?
Yes, Greenway provides 24hr transfers services.
What happens if I haven’t received confirmation and my transfer is imminent?
